Well hello and welcome! Time for some hot vape VLOG DAY action. This month ( the 17th actually ) marks 13 years combustion-free for me. After smoking for 13 years, I’ve now vaped for 13 years. I don’t know if other people have reached this milestone ( vaping more than smoking ) but it feels good and strange all at the same time.
The bummer news is that we don’t have a Retro Vape tonight, but everything else including beer, mail, liquid tastings, and getting to know grimmgreen are all present.
I’m always pleasantly surprised when a pod vapes good, and the Smoant Charon Baby Plus vapes good. The RDL is very restricted, and the MTL is quite open, but both taste and feel pretty good. The switch is quick and consistent. The weight is… heavy and I don’t know if it’s good or bad.
The bottom is rounded and awful, this is something that should stand up and just refuses to. Kind of a bummer. Otherwise, it’s got a solid battery, solid capacity, and is wicked easy to fill.

Dr Robert Califf is all but confirmed for new head of the FDA. We will be wildly speculating based on very little information about what his role could be in the future of vaping.
Joe Rogan also talked about vaping AGAIN and still doesn’t quite get it. We will have some science bits tossed in there as well as FDA and their VLN ( Very Low Nicotine Cigarettes).
Such a bummer when a cool tank has kinda crummy flavor. Obviously, your mileage may vary, but my mileage kinda sucked. The Tauren Elite RTA doesn’t have BAD flavor, just lacking flavor. The restricted lung feels nice and is honestly a bunny hop UP in flavor.
The post holes are kinda close together but not bad, it has a small footprint so it’s to be a little expected I guess. Still don’t get the “lite” vs “pro” but that’s not my business. If the “lite” had a fixed inner airflow, then I could see it maybe.
I’m kinda surprised this Sakerz Master Sub Tank video made it a full 5 min long. It’s a sub-tank so there isn’t much to talk about. The Sakerz coil heads are pretty great. These are much much better quality ( even if they are basically the same ) than those first sets of OG Sakerz coil heads I got. I can see why people loved the first Sakerz. These are easily among some of the best that HorizonTech has released, even dating back to the Falcon tanks.
I think I preferred the Falcon tanks to the Sakerz tanks. Especially in the aesthetic department. The Falcon 2 did have those “baby barf” colored tanks, but I just honestly can’t stand the shiny disco snakeskin pattern on these. No matter how great they vape, that is a thing that would keep me from using this tank on the reg.
Maxus Max is not a great name but oh well. It vapes awesome with the exception of the M1 mesh which I didn’t really love so much. The others are all quite nice, and the M5 is a juice hog.
The device itself is honestly really great. Good hand feel, good weight, nice and clicky side fire button. Dual 18650 is pretty tried and true at this point and I honestly really love this display. I know there are bigger ones out there, this one just seems really crispy and colorful to me.
Well hello and welcome! Time for some hot vape VLOG DAY action. FINALLY BACK TO A NON-JANK VLOG AND I’M SO GD EXCITED ABOUT IT!!! I’m always thankful for the breaks I take, but I would be lying if I said I didn’t miss streaming tremendously.
Retro Vaping will probably be getting bumped and I’m not OK with it because I have been DYING to get a build inside this SQY RDA. The SQY arrived shortly after Christmas and has just been sitting here, taunting me. So tonight it’s getting some hot first impressions action.
After having used some good and some less than good Smok products, it was a little difficult to get excited for this Smok Novo 2s and I guess kinda for good reason. It ends up being a little underwhelming, especially in a world of really top-notch pods.
The Novo 2s is cheap and bare-bones, it might work for a year, it might work for a few days. The airflow switch might be great, or it might be awful. There are workarounds to it but… honestly… shouldn’t be necessary. I’ve had disposables that vape WORLDS better than this and were honestly more reliable than this. Kind of a shame.
The Atlas from SC out of the Philippines is easily my favorite mech I’ve had in the last year. The things I love about mechs like the Clutch, or the Avalanche are present here and then some. I gushed enough in the video I think, but the machining and fit and finish of this mech are AMAZING.
The soft buttery press of that switch bar is euphoric in nature, truly a beautiful glorious thing. This is one of the few expensive “high-end” devices I have purchased with my own money, that I wasn’t let down by in some way. Can not love this thing enough. Feels awesome to have a spankin new high-end mech from the Philippines.
Here’s the thing, the Nord PRO is fine. The restricted lung vapes fine, not blowing me away with quality, but completely and totally fine. Same with the MTL. If you like an open MTL, the Nord Pro has a completely fine -open- MTL vape.
The auto-switch like I said in the video just won’t fire with the MTL coil unless you cover up the lung hole. Flavor on these NORD PRO coil heads is surprisingly radical. Everything else is just kinda fine. Also, there is a coil head lock on the bottom of the pods.
