Ceramic coil heads have been one in the past a bunch, for “cloud chasing” they could never compare with traditional cotton coil heads, then mesh came along and took it even further. BP Mods is trying the ceramic coil heads again with the Pioneer S Tank and man they have come a long way.

The MTL is still kinda less than awesome. Ungodly amounts of liquid are required to prime this thing. The 0.5 restricted lung is absolutely incredible, the airflow gets sharp, but the flavor bangs… it bangs for days and keeps going and bangs harder.

I’m kinda surprised this Sakerz Master Sub Tank video made it a full 5 min long. It’s a sub-tank so there isn’t much to talk about. The Sakerz coil heads are pretty great. These are much much better quality ( even if they are basically the same ) than those first sets of OG Sakerz coil heads I got. I can see why people loved the first Sakerz. These are easily among some of the best that HorizonTech has released, even dating back to the Falcon tanks.

I think I preferred the Falcon tanks to the Sakerz tanks. Especially in the aesthetic department. The Falcon 2 did have those “baby barf” colored tanks, but I just honestly can’t stand the shiny disco snakeskin pattern on these. No matter how great they vape, that is a thing that would keep me from using this tank on the reg.

So the Aeglos “tank pod” from Uwell is basically the Uwell version of the VooPoo magnetic base system thing. It’s just a modern sub tank except now with magnets … because magnets. I get it, it’s cool and the lower ohm AEGLOS coil heads work great in this “Tank Pod”. Higher ohm coil heads aren’t my favorite but your mileage may vary.

The company that does the Caliburn A2, arguably the best MTL pod on the market currently, doesn’t have a good MTL option for this and that is a bummer.

If you are a fan of the Falcon and Falcon King sub tank, chances are you will like these coil heads as well. The SAKERZ sub tank doesn’t look or feel like a Falcon tank, but the SAKERZ coil heads certainly feel like Falcon / Horizon tech coil heads.

The SAKERZ sub tank certainly isn’t bad, in fact, I like the top fill design of it much more than the Crown 5. The SAKERZ two-in-one mesh coil heads also vape pretty awesome. Solid contenter modern tank, nothing really new or groundbreaking to see there.

It’s the Uwell Crown V sub ohm tank, it’s mesh, it vapes and… it vapes. It’s hard to be blown away by a sub tank these days. As an avid sub-tank user since 2014 I can tell you, this is the best the technology as ever been and it’s not that much better than a year or two ago.

There isn’t any innovation or anything revolutionary in this Uwell Crown V. The flavor is nice, the coil heads are reliable, it has a child-proof top fill cap which is nice, if not a little annoying to use. The Crown V is a banger if you need a banger. If you have a subtank you enjoy already, I see no real need to “Upgrade” to this, as it probably vapes pretty similar to the sub-tank you already have.

Just an overall big fan, few gripes with it, but no real deal breakers. The Aegis series is rugged, beefy and solid. This model is no different.

The sub-tank is rad if not a little “hollow” feeling in the airflow, but there is not much to fault this thing on. Geekvape did a stellar job with this kit and I plan on using the mod for far longer.
