This video is almost literally 5 solid min of me just gushing about the Vmate Pod. The Vmate is incredible, as I said in the video. So reliable, so consistent, such a good vape. SMOKERS will want to take a look at this pod. Use some 12mg ( normal nic ) and it will vape great. I tried these pods with a 705 VG liquid and it worked great. Dying to get my hands on more of these because it’s all I want to use.
Seemingly out of nowhere Vaporesso releases the Forz RDA? I’m sorry, my mind is being blown seeing an RDA from Vaporesso in 2020 / 2021. More than that, I’m kind of shocked this is a banger of an RDA.
I know the deck isn’t completely original, but it works really very well and is as simple as it gets for building and wicking. Honeycomb airflow on the FORZ RDA feels really hyper-smooth. Borderline “spongy” feeling.
It’s certainly not the best RDA ever made, or even made this year. For the price, you are absolutely getting a banger.
The Augvape Foxy One 21700 mod is very slick IMO. Feels like an old school C-Frame mod from 2015 / 2016. The leather is some of the nicest I have seen recently and the suede ( although dingy now ) is wicked soft.
The Foxy One is a solid little single battery banger. As I said in the video, I’ve run all sorts of toppers on here from a Kayfun and a Pioneer to a Type Two and even a Recoil briefly. Most recently the Nautilus GT Mini has been on top and it’s been very nice.
As a guy that has always had a special place in my heart for single battery bangers and currently being on an MTL kick, the Foxy One is firmly on the desk. If it only had a better button.
It’s the Uwell Crown V sub ohm tank, it’s mesh, it vapes and… it vapes. It’s hard to be blown away by a sub tank these days. As an avid sub-tank user since 2014 I can tell you, this is the best the technology as ever been and it’s not that much better than a year or two ago.
There isn’t any innovation or anything revolutionary in this Uwell Crown V. The flavor is nice, the coil heads are reliable, it has a child-proof top fill cap which is nice, if not a little annoying to use. The Crown V is a banger if you need a banger. If you have a subtank you enjoy already, I see no real need to “Upgrade” to this, as it probably vapes pretty similar to the sub-tank you already have.
Not much new you can do with a mech mod these days. What a mech really comes down to is quality machining, a good switch, and hits hard. This Method One Mech mod is that in a nutshell. The DEEP engravings are nice, but generally not my cup of tea. They don’t feel “chalkboardy” in any for those curious. I would honestly love to buy a more simple Method One mech mod for personal use. I believe this is also known as the “Underground” mech mod, even though mine says “Darkside”
Almost zero cons IMO. I wish the switch on the outside had like a grip-tape type of texture or any texture at all. It’s smooth and it works well, but only because the throw is so soft. Star Wars rules and I’m a huge fan, but I’m not a huge fan of IP theft. Look I know it’s Disney, but it’s still their IP. Even in Spain, you can’t escape the mouse.
Thanks to Marshal for urging me to take another look at the Innokin Kroma Z. It vapes well, the “Z” Coils are very nice, and the roundwire 0.8ohm MTL coil head is a solid MTL on this.
I’m glad it got another chance and I’m more excited about the potential of the Kroma Z series than I am about this actual Kroma Z.
We have an AIO today from Lost Vape called the Thelema. It’s one of the better looking and performing “leather cut out” AIOs that I have used recently. The UB Coil heads are legit awesome and have honestly been pulling me away from the VOOPOO PNP Coils quite a bit.
Pretty big fan of this one honestly.
The XIRON is going to be a little sleeper device. It’s real simple and un-assuming, but vapes REALLY well. As I said in the video i’ve been going back and forth between The XIRON and the Hita Ink and they are insanely evenly matched in their good vape experience. It is honestly kind of a banger.
GTX Coils vape very well and are fairly reliable. Coil head life has been ok, Sometimes a GTX will last for 60ml of liquid… sometimes less, your mileage might vary. For the most part, I find them enjoyable.
Count how many times I said GeekVape in this review. Because I honestly lost track. At the end of the day this vapes great. The single 18650 battery life at 60+ watts might be less than impressive, and that rubber nubbin for the USBC actually drives me crazy and I refuse to fix it.
It honestly bums me out that Vaporesso went down this road, rather than being the innovators I have seen them be in the past.
Here we go, it’s the Evolv Reflex pod.
Right out of the gate, the Reflex from EVOLV is quite pricey, quite fiddly and overall not a great vaping experience. The tech on the inside is pretty fascinating and works as intended. The vape does feel different than a traditional “on/off” airflow switch, but not by much. Certainly not enough to justify that sticker price.
As neat as the tech is, everything else on this pod falls terribly short. The fit and finish aren’t great. It feels outdated and cheap already. The airflow is uncomfortable, sharp, turbulent and uneven feeling. The airflow is also louder than other pods. The flavor is some of the worst I have had in a pod.
But wait… there is more…
