Welcome back to TBN. Vape industry news, advocacy, and information. Today’s Topics Include: The FDA Decided to make examples of 3 very small vapor companies this last week by rejecting 55K of their PMTA applications. Were going to dig into why, and what this means for the future of the vaping market in the USA. We also have some sciencey stuff and a NEW Iqos product launching in Japan.

Be Informed, Trust Science, Defend Vaping

Considerable evidence suggests that e-cigarettes are an effective smoking-cessation tool for adults in the United States, where hundreds of thousands of people die of smoking-related illness each year.

Kenneth Warner, dean emeritus and the Avedis Donabedian Distinguished University Professor Emeritus at the University of Michigan’s School of Public Health, says, however, that the potential of vaping to increase smoking cessation has been largely overshadowed by media coverage and policies that focus on the potential risk vaping represents for teens.

Welcome back to TBN. Vape industry news, advocacy, and information. Today’s Topics Include: Some good news in Maine, some strange news from Mass and our MAIN THING this week is all about our favorite vape prohibitionist Stanton Glantz.

One of our favorite people Marc Gunther wrote an INCREDIBLE and revealing piece about Big Tobacco’s Little Helper Stanton Glantz. Cathartic rage sweat and truth butter will be flowing today.

I have an email in with Joe Buscaino’s office right now probing a little further. As an LA Resident, I would kind of love to support this guy, especially if he has a reasonable stance on harm reduction and adult use of vapor products. I haven’t used the sentence “Vape Friendly CA Politician” ever I don’t think.

I’m remaining cautiously optimistic and waiting to hear back from his office before giving this guy my support. Let me know YOUR gut feeling down below. Is it possible to have politicians that don’t bend to billionaires?

The last two years have seen efforts in state and local governmentsacross the country to ban all flavors in e-cigarettes and even to ban all flavored tobacco products. These bans—some implemented and many others wisely turned back—attempt to combat a youth vaping epidemic by adopting a narrative largely constructed by the Campaign for Tobacco Free Kids and Parents Against Vaping E-Cigarettes, anti-tobacco advocacy groups funded by billionaire Michael Bloomberg. These groups champion unproven tenets that vapor products are a gateway to cigarette use for children and that eliminating all flavored tobacco products will stop children from becoming cigarette smokers.

Welcome back to TBN. Vape industry news, advocacy, and information. We have really only one main topic today, but it’s a doozie. Bloomberg and Campaign For Tobacco Free Kids have been meddling in foreign governments. Michelle Minton from CEI is here to help us break down her recent paper regarding some internal leaked Campaign For Tobacco Free Kids documents.

For regular viewers of TBN this isn’t going to seem like super shocking stuff, but believe it or not, it gets more shocking and now we actually have documents showing the agenda. Prohibition on all alternate forms of nicotine. They have the money and influence and they are starting with LMIC countries. I mean after the USA and Canada, those were easy.

Welcome back to TBN. Vape industry news, advocacy and information. Today’s Topics Include: How Matt Meyers from Campaign for Tobacco Free Kids and Philip Morris international worked together to implement the TCA. Tobacco control has been gross and corrupt since the beginning and the implications for the future of less harmful vapor products might be predicted by the past.

We are also going to discuss those Vape “user fees” that the Trump administration and now Biden administration requested the FDA to collect from vapers and vape manufacturers. And also Pfizer has halted global sales of chantix due to possible carcinogens discovered. Yippie.

Welcome back to TBN. Vape industry news, advocacy and information. Today’s Topics Include: Literally everyone from Nancy Pelosi to Matt Meyers and Mike Bloomberg were totally and completely wrong about a connection between vaping and covid. They used this connection to limit and restrict vaping based on NOTHING. Now that there is actual science from the Mayo Clinic on Vaping and COVID and we will discuss it today.

We are also going to discuss this poor dude in MD that was tased, hog tied and arrested for vaping on the boardwalk. We’re not really here today to discuss the response from the cops, but more the laws passed by CFTFK and Bloomberg Philanthropies that lead directly to this incident.

Apart from being one of my more recent THR heroes, Ethan Nadelmann has been one of the most outspoken critics of the current ‘War on Drugs’. Rolling Stone Magazine called him “The driving force for the legalization of marijuana in America” he has been defending cannabis and drugs his entire career. He is also the founder of Drug Policy Alliance, a New York City based non-profit. Their goal is to “reduce the harms of both drug use and drug prohibition, and to promote the sovereignty of individuals over their minds and bodies”.
