States are responding to their own outbreaks of COVID-19 by implementing different versions of social distancing and shutting down non-essential services. While some of these businesses are being granted exemptions (for example, restaurants can still offer curbside pick-up and delivery and liquor stores are open with strict social distancing protocols), there are questions about whether or not vape shops are allowed to remain open in any capacity.

Many businesses were forced to shut their doors due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Italy, which got hit the hardest so far by COVID-19, gave an exemption to essential stores such as grocery stores, pharmacies, news agencies and… tobacco shops? Dr. Riccardo Polosa did not agree with that.

January 31st 2020 – Health managers have decided to allow vaping in the grounds of Devon’s largest hospital.
In the United States our politicians are attempting to outright BAN any and all vapor products ( except those partially owned by the biggest big tobacco companies ) meanwhile in the UK hospitals across the country are changing their verbiage from a “SMOKE FREE” hospital to a “TOBACCO FREE” hospital because they now allow vaping on hospital grounds.
