So the Manic pod by Wotofo. Truly and honestly, if not for that giant logo, this would be a 5 star pod system. Their coil heads are very nice, as I said in the video I like the M11 round wire just a hair more than the mesh, but I like the VooPoo mesh just a hair better. Overall this is a great little pod system with lots of modern bells and whistles. Crispy bright screen and adjustable wattage are nice bonus features.
3D printing has come a shockingly long way. As I said, I’ve used hundreds of different 3D printed mods and this one by far feels the least 3D printed feeling. The switch is soft and squishy, but hits nice and hard, and has a locking feature. That’s a win.
Don’t mind my early grumpiness. After vaping this constructed coil I completely changed my mind. This thing vapes awesome and was … ehh.. mildly easy to build. I’m sure it gets easier and I can already kinda think about how I’ll do it faster next time. This is the first really successful coil building “kit” for coil heads that I have personally used. As I beat into the ground in the video, they never quite measure up.
It feels and vapes like a nice new fresh PNP coil head. The “turbo” nexMesh tasted nice. I would challenge someone to truly find a big difference between them, but it’s always nice to have options.
I’m pretty confident in saying that the VooPoo drag 3 is my favorite version so far of the DRAG series. Again, this being the dual 18650 mod with a 510 connection. Going all the way back to even the first DRAG mod, I think VooPoo has always done a pretty solid job. I didn’t LOVE the Drag 2, but the Drag 3 is something that I would want to own.
The Drag 3 feels slick and “techy” kind of along the same lines as the LostVape dual 18650 devices. If you have nothing to vape, The Drag3 is the newest, most updated-est version of the DRAG mods. Alternatively you can probably also just wait two months and get the Drag 3 “Prime” or “Plus” or “max”… probably
I’m a fan of Innokin and I’m a fan of Innokin appealing to smokers with the new EQ FLTR. Is it perfect? Far from, but for a smoker, I think this could be truly stellar. There have been some rad pods lately as I discussed in this video.
With that said, the EQ FLTR is pretty solid. Not on the same level as things like the Wenax K1 or the V-Thru, but still very very solid. Smooth draw, good flavor, Excellent form factor.
If you have a friend or family member that smokes, who wants something that feels like a cigarette in the mouth. The EQ FLTR could be exactly what they need to finally quit combustion and for that, I can’t be too too hard on this device.
Every so often Vaporesso has a banger, this is that banger. I’m really into this Swag PX80 kit. It’s small and slick and powerful enough to run some GTX coil heads. Honestly, the real star of the show here is that coil head swapping system. It’s brilliant and works flawlessly. This is the most innovation I’ve seen in the world of sub-tanks since the inception of mesh coil heads.
We are continuing “RTA MONTH” here on the GrimmGreen YouTube. Finally on the 22nd of the month getting to some dual coil bangers. I have a feeling RTA “month” will continue past Feb, but that’s fine. Today we have the Zeus X rta , the Blotto RTA and the Griffin 25mm. Why these? Curiosity mostly.
These are RTA’s that I have loved in the past and I want to see how they hold up and vape. It’s interesting to see all of the bells and whistles across different RTA designs IMO. The ZeusX has a unique, removable inner chimney piece. The Griffin has an old school 2-piece chimney. Interesting stuff IMO.
At the end of the day, these need to vape. So they WILL get ranked among each other. Post stream RTA thoughts will be down below.
It’s difficult to explain the mental gymnastics that went into putting together today’s Build Stream, but here we are. Back with the Serpent Elevate AGAIN. I won’t be satisfied until i’m satisfied. We also randomly have that AEGIS RDTA topper for the AEGIS Pro, which I’m honestly really excited about as well. So here we go, it’s going to be a weird ass week here on the GrimmGreen YouTube. Welcome.
Well, we are here today to build up some MORE SINGLE COIL BANGERS! Feb is RTA month here on the GrimmGreen Youtube. We started last week with some Single Coil Bangers and we are continuing this week with MORE SINGLE COIL BANGERS!
The lineup of single coil bangers this week includes The QP Designs, Juggerknot Mini, the Wotofo / SMM Serpent Elevate, The OFRF Gear RTA and finally the OG Pharaoh RTA ( not the “drip tank” he did in 2015, this is the RTA from 2017) I have a feeling this will be the last week for single coil bangers, next week we are going to get into some dual coil guys. Going to do a comparison and ranking at the end, and all my post stream thoughts will be down below this line.
