Sudden Tuesday Build ‘n Chill. Wanted to FINALLY take a look at these C.A.B.E.O RDTAs that I picked up in Germany at the Hall Of Vape show! I have the MTL and the DL versions of the C.A.B.E.O. I’ve heard nothing but good things about these RTAs ( RDTAs? ).
I’m going into this mostly blind today, I have a little info but not much. I think that makes for a better stream. Anyway, check out my Hall Of Vape experience HERE.
Sudden Tuesday Build ‘n Chill!! It’s just been a bit too long since we got to hang out and have a Build ‘n Chill. I have a hard time fitting these into my schedule, but today felt like a good fit. We are trying to focus on RTAs today.
I have that Kayfun X STILL unbuilt, as well as a few other brand new RTA’s still un-built. We’re just winging it, so i’m going to let you guys choose and decide what to build. Other than the KayFun X, we are totally finally building that RTA.
Oh, big surprise I like a Mike Vapes product. The Yachtvape Eclipse Dual truly is a good RTA. Keep the wicks on the thin side and it will wick like a champion. Flavor for days, smooth airflow for days. Some honestly good machining on this RTA, solid fit and finish.
Confirmed airflow sizes are 1.5mm MTL and 3.5mm RDL. There is also an extended tank for this RTA as well as 1, 1.2, 1.8, 2, 2.5, and 3mm airflow pins. I might possibly do a follow-up video / stream later when I can get them.
Otherwise this JIIIS ( J3S ) RTA as I said, is kinda just rad sauce. All the fit and finish is stellar, the deck is tricky to wick I’m not going to lie. The re-wick after this video on the MTL did get actually leaky on me. Like leak out the airflow leaky. It takes some practice IMO to really nail it down consistently. Flavor nation Utah though.
I guess “unique” would be a solid way to explain the BP Mods SURE RTA. Does a stellar MTL and RDL vape. The 1.2mm is my jam for MTL but it does go all the way down to 0.8mm and up to 3mm.
The airflow, while not super smooth, it’s not super sharp or turbulent either, it’s just kinda “fine”. Top cap isn’t nearly as much of an issue as I thought it would be, for the most part, if you treat it like an RDA, you should be good. If the cap came off and sat horizontally for an extended period of time, yeah it would probably make a mess and leak everywhere.
What was YOUR experience with the OG Wotofo Gear V1 RTA?👇 COMMENT! I’m also sorry I look like a scraggly old man in this video. It was a weekday morning and I hadn’t shaved yet.
Now then…Was the OG Gear RTA even really THAT good? like to begin with? People are saying the V2 ruined the V1 and I kind of agree. But I also think they are more similar than everyone realizes with an obvious clear winner… Spoilers…
The consensus on the Damn Vape ATEMPORAL 24MM RTA seems to be all over the place. Some people really seem to love it hard, others don’t, and some people’s ATEMPORAL RTA has a whistle.
My Atemporal RTA doesn’t whistle, but it is spongy as hell. This airflow is a textbook definition of “spongy”. It’s an odd term, but as I’ve said, it feels like a kitchen sponge is in front of your airflow.
NGL, the Wotofo Gear V2 RTA kinda won me over a little bit more in this very video. As I said, I was ready to pan this thing with a 4 sticker rating. Something about that coil kinda changed everything and dang it, no, I won’t shut up about the flavor. It’s really good IMO.
Don’t love the tank itself, don’t love the tophat, but it’s fine. The airflow is honestly kinda sharp and a hair loud. This is just a mysterious tank to me and I think will be one of those RTAs that everyone ends up getting and loving. Also because it’s really not expensive in any way.
As I said in the video, I’ve had an M25 QP Fatality in the past, I had it in this build stream [LINK] and I truly and honestly liked it. But I don’t remember falling for it THIS hard. Maybe it’s all in my head.
Dial in your airflow, and exhale some radical flavor. Everything works and fits awesomely on the Fatality M30. No bad o-rings, no bad threads.
