Single Coil Bangers! BuildStream – Intake x GATA x SerpentMini x Druga

Heyyyy!! Welcome to the Monday afternoon build stream!! (**EDIT In retrospect I should have not tried or vaped that Serpent Mini. A few drags i’m sure is fine, but if your RTA ever looks rusted or turns your clear liquid brown, DO NOT USE IT. Thanks for coming to my TedTalk )

It’s slowly becoming my favorite stream of the week ( don’t tell the VLOG ). Well we are here today to build up some SINGLE COIL BANGERS! As you may or may not know, I”ve been obsessed with going through all my old gear. I have 11 years worth of “stuff” here that is all really interesting and fun. We are probably going to spend a few weeks ( 1 month? ) doing nothing but RTA Build Streams.

I’ve always been an RTA fan, and I genuinely geek out at RTA design. It’s fascinating to me over the years all the different ways people have done the otherwise straight forward task of having a coil in a tank. Anyway, I have 4 bangers with me today that I have dug out of the GrimmGreen Archives.

The Druga From Augvape is probably the newest RTA on the block today. In addition to that, I have the OG Intake RTA, the QP GATA rta and the OG Serpent Mini RTA. They are all single coil bangers, and we are going to build them and put them head to head to head to head.

MTL BUILD STREAM 2! FT: The Artemis – Cthulhumodz

Ok welcome everyone! had such a fun time last week doing the MTL build stream that I wanted to do it again. We have a NEW Artemis from Cthulhumodz to try out today. This was a late 2020 MTL tank that just arrived in my office. Going to be putting it up this week against the ARES2 , The Intake MTL, and the Reload MTL RTA. We can wrap it all up at the end with another “shoot out” type of thing. I’m an MTL guy, so I’m really really excited to see how this Artemis stacks up.

I also still have all of last weeks MTL tanks still going, so this just became an 8 TANK SHOOT OUT!!! WHOAHHHH BABY!! Anyway, all my after-stream thoughts will be down below.

MTL BUILD STREAM! – FT Kayfun Lite Plus 2020 – Top Tank Shoot Out

Hey Everyone! welcome to the Monday Afternoon Build Stream. I’m not even going to pretend this will be done in less than an hour. We are spending today fiddling around with some MTL tanks. In addition to the buffet of MTL ( mouth to lung ) tanks I have, we are going to spend some extra time on the new Kayfun Lite Plus 2020. Or maybe now it’s 2021 I don’t know. It’s great and we are going to build it, as well as clean up and freshen up a few other choice MTL tanks including Bogan’s ETHER RTA, The DVARW and lastly the Pioneer.

I hate the term “shoot out” but that’s mostly what this will be. Is the KayFun still the king of my MTL world? I honestly don’t know anymore and I feel the need to put all my favorite MTL tanks up against each other. Post stream thoughts will be down below as well as timestamps. QP Violator RTA – Builstream / Rundown in 30min or less!

The QP Violator RTA just arrived and I can’t not build it. I’m a pretty big fan of most everything QP does and releases. QP is a staple in the industry and has been around for at least 5-6 years now. I’ll be going into this QP Violator RTA build mostly blind. I’ve given the deck an inspection and I think I have a game plan for how to get this thing vaping. Lets see how it goes.

Retro Build Stream! ORCHID V2 RTA – in 48 min or less!

2014 was a different time for vaping. The industry was experiencing a “renaissance” of sorts. New innovations were happening every day. RTA’s were getting better and better, less leaking with better flavor. The Orchid V2 RTA ( what I believe to be the V2 anyway ) was among the greats of that time. I’ll tell the whole story of this Orchid V2 RTA, we will do a “modern” build in it and do a rundown of the whole thing, top to bottom.

Does it hold up? Time for a Retro Build Stream I think.

The Pioneer RTA is a BANGER

When an RTA looks high end, but isn’t actually high end, that is the Pioneer RTA. It’s versatile AF. The amount of accesories is staggering. Two post deck is easy to build on, it’s easy to wick and all the parts fit together really well. Some cheap feeling parts here and there, some squeaky threads throughout, but otherwise it’s a pretty solid feeling RTA.

Trilogy RTA – Vaperz Cloud – Build / Rundown in 46 Min or less

Just got this from Vaperz Cloud. I realize this is an “older” RTA in that it came out in DEC of 2019 but i’m still stoked to try it. Only in the vape world is an 8 month old product considered “old” no matter. I got some helpful hits from Mr South-Ern-Comfort on how to wick this thing. I’m worried about leaks with this for some reason. Fingers crossed. After-stream-thoughts will be down below.

ETHER RTA – Build / Rundown – in 52 min or less

JUST got this Ether RTA in the mail and i’m DYING to get a build in it. I’m a bit of a mouth-to-lung snob, so i’m really excited to see how this RTA vapes. My hopes are set pretty high right out of the gate. Basically going in blind on this, I now there are some inserts for controlling the airflow. I also have the “glass pack” which are the bigger glass portions for a bit more capacity. Stoked to see how this turns out.
